Ruth M. Tappen, PhD, RN, FANN. Lead Investigator.
Dr. Tappen is an expert in gerontological research and founded the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center and its driver testing program. Areas of expertise are memory concerns, care transitions, and health aging in diverse populations

David Newman, PhD. Co-head Investigator.
Dr. Newman is an Associate Professor and biostatistician/research methodologist at Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, Florida Atlantic University who teaches advanced statistics and research methodology classes. Dr. Newman has more than 70 scholarly publications (journal articles and textbook chapters) and he is the principal investigator or co-investigator on multiple National Institutes of Health grants as well as other federal, state, and foundation funded grants.

Monica Rosselli, PhD. Head Cognitive Testing Workgroup.
Dr. Rosselli is a cross-cultural neuropsychologist interested in understanding the influence of culture and education factors in the cognitive assessment of culturally diverse populations. As an investigator of the Florida Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center she has studied the association between bilingualism and brain biomarkers in longitudinal studies involving individuals suffering from normal and abnormal aging.

María de los Ángeles Ordóñez, DNP, APRN, GNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CDP, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. María de los Ángeles Ordóñez is the Director of the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center, and an Associate Professor of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She is a Board Certified Gerontological and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, engaged in administration, clinical practice, teaching, research, policy, and service.

Jinwoo Jang, PhD
Dr. Jang is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering and a fellow of the Institute for Sensing and Embedded Networks Systems Engineering (I-SENSE). He has expertise in sensing and smart systems and big telematics data analytics and leads the project's engineering effort.

Borko Furht, PhD
Dr. Furht is a Professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science and Director of the NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Advanced Knowledge Enablement. His research is in multimedia systems, video and image coding and processing, data analytics applications, and Internet engineering.

Kwangsoo Yang, PhD
Dr. Yang is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University. His research expertise includes spatiotemporal network database, trajectory anomaly detection, and route planning problem.
